Is API is working?

Postby denis » Mon 5. Oct 2015, 19:46

Hi!

Now API returns "OK" on all my requests.
Is it temporary or no more API here?)

The API currently is only for communicating with the HOLM tool.

As the API always caused performance problems the last year and was misused a lot, I'm not sure if I will bring it back quickly. Perhaps a little different kind of API is possible.

Can you explain more detailed what you need the API for? Depending on the usage we can discuss it to create a solution.

I don't know any more way to check my small daily hashlists here.

v1) site form with many restrictions (copy+paste, capcha, max rows...)
v2) list uploading and waiting weeks for result? no, it is too long

The online database was unique and very fast as well.

+ orig db has 477'100'471 pwds vs 279'512'543 records in found.txt.

That's because this 477... number is the number of cracked hashes in the database, this means it is possible that there are multiple hashes with the same plain which are uniqued on the found generation. And additionally all junk is not contained in found.txt, that's also why the found list is smaller than 477mil.
